Over the weekend, Lake of the Ozarks witnessed an exhilarating shootout featuring our M•CON Racing / Monster Energy Super Cat and Class 1 boats in fierce competition. The atmosphere was electric as spectators gathered to witness some of the fastest boats in action, setting the stage for an unforgettable showdown on the water.
In the Super Cat class, the competition was fierce, with driver Myrick Coil and fill-in Throttleman Johnny Tomlinson steering the Skater to an impressive second-place finish. Despite their best efforts, our competitors from WHM Motorsports managed to edge ahead in a thrilling race that had fans excited to witness more, highlighting the intense battles that unfolded on the lake.
Meanwhile, in the Class 1 race, Tyler Miller returned to the throttles alongside driver Myrick Coil. With the dedication and hard work of our M•CON crew, our vessel was primed for victory. True to form, we clinched the win in just the second race of the Class 1 schedule, a testament to our team‘s unwavering commitment to excellence and determination.
As the weekend came to a close, our team celebrated two podium finishes and a remarkable display of teamwork and skill. With our sights set on the Ocean City Grand Prix this weekend, where the double points race awaits, we’re eager to get our Super Cat back in the water and continue our pursuit of success, fueled by the excitement of the challenges that lie ahead.
