Having claimed a Union Internationale Motonautique Class 1 World Championship in 2023, the Monster Energy/M CON team has already reached one of its goals. It’s an accomplishment not likely to be repeated anytime soon as UIM Class 1 competition has returned to dormancy. But the first full Pro Class 1 season under the American Power Boat Association banner starts May 15-18 in Cocoa Beach, Fla.
“Keeping the Monster Energy boat on top of the podium will be first and foremost for the 2025 season,” Owner/throttleman Tyler Miller said. “We’ve spent a lot of time with our current Pro Class 1 438 Skater off the coast of Florida for the 2025 season. We’ve made significant gains to all the numbers across the board with multiple changes to the boat. We can’t wait to go racing.”
The team also is building a new Skater raceboat at the Douglas, Mich., facility for the 2026 season. The project started in December 2023.
