The Race World Offshore Chicago National Grand Prix was a tough but rewarding weekend for us. On Saturday, we fought hard on the 4.9-mile course and kept ourselves in the mix against some of the best in Pro Class 1. By Sunday, we had 12 laps ahead of us and knew every point mattered. Once we found our rhythm, we were able to make our way around GC Racing/MTI, holding strong to take third place at the finish.
Our crew worked nonstop to get the boat ready and give us the setup we needed to stay competitive. The Monster Energy M•CON Skater handled the rough water well, and every lap gave us more confidence. Leaving Chicago with valuable points keeps us in the hunt and shows the progress we’ve been making each race. It was a solid weekend for our team, and we’re ready to build on it at the next event.
