The 43rd Annual Key West World Championships delivered a thrilling week of offshore racing, and M•CON Racing was right in the thick of the action. Myrick Coil and Tyler Miller entered the week eager to compete but had to endure a rough start as Hurricane weather forced the cancellation of Wednesday’s race. This initial setback didn’t dampen the teams dedication, and the M•CON racing crew moved forward focusing on Friday and Sundays races.
Friday brought new challenges with a mechanical failure in the Super Cat class, but our team work hard to rebound strongly. After repairs, the team came out on Sunday determined to finish on a high note, leading several laps in an intense final race. Our persistence paid off with a second-place finish for the day and a second place overall in the Super Cat class. In the PRO Class One, Tyler and Myrick fought hard, securing fifth on Friday and improving to third on Sunday, which landed them third overall in the World Championship standings. Despite the ups and downs, M•CON Racing showcased resilience and skill, finishing the week on a high note. We are looking forward to coming back next season stronger than ever!
