The 2024 Shootout was a weekend for the history books, combining heart-pounding drag racing with an incredible cause. Hosted as part of the Call Out Drag Racing for Charity event, this year’s Shootout brought together racing enthusiasts and generous donors for an unforgettable experience. The Shootout was more than just a race; it was a celebration of camaraderie, competition, and community spirit. The energy and excitement of the event were infectious, and the sense of making a positive impact was the cherry on top of an incredible night.

Racing for a Cause
The highlight of the evening was the thrilling face-off between M•CON Racing and G.C. Racing’s Willie Cabeza. It was a high-stakes race where the loser would donate $3,000 to charity. Our team at M•CON Racing was ready to bring their A-game, and after a nail-biting race, we emerged victorious. With our victory, we not only earned bragging rights but also matched Willie’s donation, bringing the total contribution to $6,000. But the generosity didn’t stop there. The spirit of giving was truly palpable as crew members from MTI, M•CON, and other dedicated supporters rallied together. Their combined efforts contributed an additional $2,700, bringing the total donation to a remarkable $8,700 for charity.

The enthusiasm from our team, the competitive spirit of our rivals, and the generosity of all involved made this event truly special.
