The 2024 Thunder on Cocoa Beach was an unforgettable event for M•CON Racing, filled with thrilling moments and triumphs that will be remembered for years to come! Even though our regular throttleman, Tyler Miller, had to watch from the shoreline due to a recent surgery, our team did not let that slow us down. With driver Myrick Coil behind the wheel and the incredible Johnny Tomlinson stepping in as throttleman, we soared to victory and clinched the first-place trophy in the Super Cat Class! The energy was electric, and the roar of the engines matched the excitement of the crowd as we crossed the finish line in spectacular fashion.
In the Class 1 boat, we saw another inspiring performance, despite not ending with the checkered flag in hand. Steve Curtis, our fill-in throttleman, gave it his all alongside Myrick. While the win eluded us this time, the fierce competition and relentless determination displayed by our crew were truly commendable. The synergy and spirit of our team shone brightly, promising an even stronger comeback. Our focus is now on the next race, and the entire M•CON Racing team is working tirelessly to fine-tune every detail, ensuring that we are ready to dominate at Lake of the Ozarks.
