The 7 Mile Offshore Grand Prix in Marathon, FL was one for the books! It was not the way we anticipated the season to start, but the race was filled with excitement as racers and fans cheered their teams on. M CON was a proud sponsor for the inaugural Race World Offshore event in Marathon and the first of the 2023 offshore season. During qualifying held on Saturday, Driver Myrick Coil and throttleman Tyler Miller recorded the fastest time at an astonishing 3:05.2 with close to a three second advantage over the second slotted team. This put M CON in Pole Position for the race but ultimately landed us in a 1st place podium finish after an cancellation of Sunday’s race due to the unfortunate rough conditions on the water.
