M•CON Racing is eagerly gearing up for the upcoming Thunder on Cocoa, the second race of the APBA National Series. We’re pumped to hit the water and strive for our second win in the Super Cat class and also to debut our Class 1 skater for the year. However, we’re disappointed to announce that Tyler Miller, our throttleman, will be unable to join us for these races due to a recent back procedure.
Tyler was experiencing sharp pains in his back and numbing in his legs. After the victory in Marathon, Miller needed relief and reached out to renowned spine surgeon, Dr. Michael Janssen. Although Miller will be out, our hardworking M•CON Racing team remains committed to competing in both the Super Cat and Class 1 races in Cocoa Beach! Stepping up to the challenge, veteran throttleman Johnny Tomlinson will fill in for Tyler in the Super Cat, while Steve Curtis will take the helm in the Class 1 vessel. Driver Myrick Coil will continue to guide our M•CON Racing machines across the water.
With Thunder on Cocoa just around the corner, the M•CON Racing team is buzzing with anticipation. We can’t wait to feel the energy of the fans and hit the water, ready to give it our all and make every moment count!
