Building a boat is not easy work but we are pleased to announce that there will be a new M•CON Skater ready to hit the water in no time! There are no words big enough to describe the gratitude toward the amazing team that was able to get this done. Including their new 38-foot, Super Cat-class raceboat, Tyler and Lindsey Miller have owned six catamarans from Skater Powerboats in Douglas, Mich. Their new 388 M CON cat is yet another piece of Skater artwork, and if you watch carefully you’ll catch it being sanded in the recent Speed On The Water “In The Lead with Peter Hledin” video.
Now it’s in the early stages of rigging at Performance Boat Center in Osage Beach, Mo., under the watchful eyes of the multi-brand dealership’s Myrick Coil, who drives the M CON cat with Miller on the throttles, and team crew chief Jake Leckliter.
The rigging timeline is tight. The boat, which arrived at Performance Boat Center as a mostly bare hull, needs to be ready for the American Power Boat Association Offshore National Championship Series season-opener May 19-22 in Cocoa Beach, Fla.
But what’s mostly on the Millers’ minds right now is gratitude and appreciation for the entire team at Skater Powerboats.
